The Sauna Pod has been amazing so far. It gets to 185F very quickly (15ish minutes) and at 6’4” 200 lbs I still fit in it comfortably. The “window” off of the front allows me to watch my TV in my garage where I set mine up. Easy to clean, takes up minimal space, and works as well as any sauna I have been in before. How long should I spend in the sauna?
We recommend sessions to be 15-30 minutes. If you're a regular sauna user, you may be able to stay longer. It is unlikely that you'll experience more significant health benefits by staying inside for longer as your body will have cleared out the majority of harmful toxins inside the body through sweating within the first 10-15 min.
Who cannot use the Sauna Pod?
If you have a high sensitivity to heat, have a fever, have a condition that inhibits your ability to sweat or have a pacemaker or defibrillator- we don't recommend using our sauna.
Infrared vs hot air sauna
An infrared sauna is a type of sauna that uses light to make heat. This type of sauna is sometimes called a far-infrared sauna. "Far" describes where the infrared waves fall on the light spectrum. A regular Finnish sauna uses electric conduction heat to warm the air, which in turn warms your body.
An infrared sauna heats your body directly without warming the air around you. Studies have shown that hot air saunas are healthier for your body long term, and most longevity studies with proven health benefits are around Finnish/hot air saunas with higher temperatures, which is why we choose this heating option for the SaunaPod.
What EMF does the Sauna Pod generate?
Our patent pending heater uses resistance coils to generate heat. The current passing through these coils produces low-frequency electromagnetic fields (similar to other household appliances like hairdryers and electric stoves). It's impossible to get 0 EMF, but the SaunaPod heater is on the low end and would be classified as a Low-EMF appliance.
Does the red light in the Sauna Pod have any functional benefit?
The red light in our Sauna Pod is a regular red LED strip that improves the ambiance during a session.
It is not red light therapy, which requires specific wavelengths to be effective (typically between 600 to 850 nm).
Regular red LED strips are not designed for therapeutic purposes.
How do you recommend cleaning the Sauna Pod?
The Sauna Pod features a PVC flooring material that is easy to wipe clean, ensuring effortless maintenance. The chair is constructed from a durable fabric that is also designed for easy cleaning. Additionally, the cotton fabric of the sauna itself is treated with a wax coating, making it liquid-repellent. This prevents the absorption of sweat and humidity, allowing for simple wipe-down cleaning.
We also recommend leaving the compartment door open after use so that the unit gets proper ventilation
Can I buy the Sauna Pod heater separately?
No, the Sauna Pod heater is only available as part of the complete Sauna Pod system.
The heater is specifically designed to work with our 100% cotton Sauna Pod, ensuring the safest and most effective sauna experience. Most other sauna tents are made from polyester or nylon, which can release toxic chemicals at high temperatures. Using the heater outside of the Sauna Pod would also reduce its efficiency and overall performance.
To achieve the best results, we recommend the full Sauna Pod system, which is engineered for optimal heat distribution, safety, and durability.
What is a dry sauna?
A dry sauna generates heat by an electric heater or wooden stove. Unlike steam saunas, it has very low humidity.

Update: The warranty team reach out to understand the issue and hopefully get down to the root cause of the issue. They issued a replacement. Great customer service. As far as the function of the jet, it's great to keep water moving and keep the temperature the same throughout the tub.
The articulating arm attached between the fan and the base is oddly shaped, creating a weak point when adjusting the fan. Mine broke off easily, which made me think it was either already fractured or there is a QA/QC issue.
Original: Have the pod consistently work? I love this pod when it works, but its so inconsistent. One day it works great for about 30 minutes. The next day it stops around minute 25 and won't heat. Then will work for a day or two and then break again.
Updated: THis is the mark of great customer service. THey saw the issue (see video), and addressed it quickly and sent me another one. No issues currently - it works as promised and I really love my pod.
We host running camps all summer long. I believe we are one of the largest running camps in the country. Bought 10 of them. Kids love them! I’ve had a couple of coaches mention they want to buy some for their program. Even had kids say they are gonna talk to their parents about getting one.
Great Products, long pod is the perfect size to have your legs fully extended. The chiller is the perfect combination to keep you water cold and clean. An improvement would be to specific instructions regarding using hose clamps and rubber fittings placement, initially setup was leaking. I made adjustments and got it corrected. Skimmer needs even smaller holes or made some type of liner to get the smaller debris. 10/10 Recommend!

Relatively easy to assemble by myself. Cranked the heat and spent a lovely 30 min meditating and relaxing. Burst of energy afterwards was amazing. It is great that something done for ‘me time’ is also affordable and good for me. I will be adding it several times. So far so good - still trying to figure out the most economical way to cool it down without getting a chiller since I won’t need that in the winter. The 6 ice blocks don’t make a dent in the 126 gallon long pod. Additionally, if you use it every day, the water probably won’t last 5-6 weeks or you need to use more water stabilizer. My water was gross after 1 week and I shower before each plunge.
We had a pod and were just using ice for months and it was incredibly inconvenient. After purchasing the chiller we have been able to plunge daily and it so nice not having to worry about buying ice every day!
We love having an ice bath as a recovery tool! We have always had a tub at our house but now we live in a converted school bus and this thing is perfect! It allows us to have our ice bath on the road! It packs up small and sets up easy. We love this thing!

We Bought this for our son’s birthday. He is so excited to have it and he has used it several times. States he feels it is helping with inflammation he is experiencing and is so happy with it. Required adding some of the included O rings to prevent leaks which isn't included in setup directions. Started right up and no issues. Down to temp and staying where required. Perfect
Love this cold plunge! Easy set up, and chiller works great! We keep water at 50 degrees. Cools fast and stays cold. We also got the topper and extra padding around it. We live in TX and it has been great with the higher temps. Highly recommend!!
This came free as part of a bundle I purchased. It does take up freezer space, but great to not have to buy ice or pour ice from fridge/freezer. I wouldn’t have purchased this separately initially, but super glad it came with my bundle purchase.
At first I didn't put Teflon tape on all of the threads and air was getting into the filter compartment somehow. So the water would only be an inch or so above the bottom. I took everything apart and redid all the connections with Teflon tape and now the water sits near the top. It cools down really well, I haven't even set it to the lowest temperature yet. I did buy an ozone generator that I drop in and run for about 30 minutes after I get out to help keep it sanitary.
The sauna is awesome, I’m using it every morning, also the ice pod is great too.
My suggestion for the sauna would to put a chair that is taller because the good heat rises and, for me it takes a while for the hottest heat to get to my full body!

The husband loves his Father's Day gift and it is perfect after a good workout, long days hike, or just need to relax. I will say this, the instructions on this was really badly written! What should have taken about 15 mins to set up took me a few hours. Trying to read what was written made no sense so much that I just went to the back looked at the overall picture and had it figured out in minutes. Other than that this chiller is perfect.

I’m 6’1 and I have a hard time standing up because the chair is so low and replaced it with a bar stool and that works much better. Wish it would get hotter in the morning but I’m still learning about how the outdoor temperature effects on high it will go. On a warm day it reached over 190 degrees, but in the mornings it’s between 160 to 170 and that feels good. So far very happy with this.

After reading the synopsis of the recent 20 year Finish study regarding sauna time and reduced mortality and morbidity - we knew we had to get ourselves a sauna! We have neither the room nor the finances for a large, wooden structure (3 kids in college - they eat up both space and money) so I started the search for the perfect portable sauna.
I looked at steam, infrared and dry heat (aka The Pod). It came down to infrared v. dry and frankly the reviews of The Pod won us over.
We found a space, put it together and have enjoyed a few sessions. I will say - we goofed when putting it together and cannot get the zipper all the way closed (we’ll fix that this weekend) so we can’t get up to 185° yet. We still sweat a bit but can’t wait to max it out.
I feel great after a session. I leave my phone outside - this is ME time. I just sit back, relax and let the toxins go. I haven’t put in the time to swear to faster recovery times but my son is a lifter (benches 315, box squats 695, etc) he says he feels much better after a sauna session.
It’s early on and the jury is still out but I think it’s the best anniversary gift my husband and I have ever invested in (and it’s the 29th gift!).
