How much ice do I need to add?

If you don't opt for the chiller right away, We recommend adding 15-30lbs (7-14kg) of ice to your ice bath per session depending on the initial water temperature. The amount of ice needed highly depends on your tap water temperature, the climate you live in, and how cold you desire it to be. If you live in colder climates, adding ice may not even be needed.
We also offer our XXL Ice Bricks which makes huge 3lb. ice bricks in your home freezer that will last significantly longer than regular cubed ice, and melt much slower.

Is the LongPod/IcePod chiller compatible?

Yes! Both Pods comes with 2 valves to connect a water chiller.

How do I keep the water clean?

To keep the water clean for long periods of time, we recommend getting our Water Maintenance Pack
This Pack includes 2 months supply of our custom formulated disinfectant & cleanser you need to have perfect clean and clear water. Using these products, you'll likely not have to change your water for weeks to months.
If you don't use sanitizer in your ice bath, we recommend changing the water once per week or every 3-5 sessions.

Does it include a Cover / Lid?

Yes! All our ice baths comes with a cover lid to keep debris out of it.
We also offer an Insulated Lid for both of the Pods that will keep the water cold for longer.

Can it be set up outdoor?

Yes!

We engineered all our Pods to be weather and UV resistant, so you can set it up Inside or outside, even in temperatures below freezing. The insulation layer makes the water turn to ice a lot slower, but we still recommend to stir the water at least once a day to keep the water from freezing completely solid.
Our Pod chiller is also rated for both indoor and outdoor use, and covered by warranty, so you can set up your ice bath anywhere without worries.

We ship all orders from one of our 2 warehouses located in the USA, one on the east coast and one on the west coast.
We offer Free Shipping to all of USA (orders above $100), with a few exceptions such as Hawaii, Alaska & military bases (shipping for these locations starts from $16 depending on the product and weight). We ship using FedEx or USPS (and sometimes a few other partner carriers).

Pods (LongPod or IcePod): If you are unhappy with your Pod for any reason, you have 100(!) days to return it for a full refund. Note: The product needs to be in unused condition, see our return policy for more details.
Water Chiller: We offer a 30 days risk-free money back guarantee on the water chiller, so you can test it and return it if it doesn't meet your expectations. To be eligible for a return for The Water Chiller, your item must be in good condition and not have major signs of use ie. scratches/dents. You can try it out, but if you have used it and decide to return it, please clean/wipe it and send it back in it's original packaging with all parts in the box.
After we receive your return back at our warehouse, you'll get a full refund within 5 business days. Please note that the customer is responsible for the small return shipping cost, we do not however charge a restocking fee.

Is the chiller compatible with my current Ice Bath?

Yes, you can connect the Pod Chiller to any ice bath, bathtub, bucket - you name it. The chiller comes with pump and filter, so you simply put both hoses from the chiller into any body of water to start cooling it. If your tub doesn't have a bottom valve to connect it to, you will need to siphon water into the inlet hose to start the circulation, please refer to youtube on how to siphon - this is necessary as the pump can not start the circulation of water if there are air in the hoses.

Does the Pod Chiller have warranty?

Yes! Every chiller comes with a 1 year warranty, so if you experience any issues or it breaks, we'll simply send you a new one!

The warranty can also be extended for a small fee at checkout, so you are covered up to 2 years.

Is the chiller gonna run up my electricity bill?

No! The Power usage is extremely efficient at just 280watt, which is comparable to the freezer/fridge in your home.

Example of power usage: at 77°F (25°C) room temperature, and chiller temperature set at 46°F (8°C) will consume around 1.4-1.8 kWh per day (every 24 hours). With todays average kWh in the USA that equals to just around $0.8 per day in electricity cost to run the Chiller 24/7.

(These are estimates and can vary depending on the climate and temperatures where you live).

Does the chiller filter the water to keep it clean?

Yes, our Water Chiller has a 20 micron filter with 24/7 water circulation which filters out hair, skin cells, leaves, sand and other debris. Enjoy a clean and clear ice bath at all times, ready for you when you are.

To maintain clean water for extended periods, we highly recommend getting our Water Maintenance Pack

This will allow you to keep the water in the pod for multiple weeks to months without algae, bacteria, scum and odours developing

Be your own judge of the water condition, and change it when needed. But if you choose not to use sanitizer to disinfect, we recommend changing the water every 3-5 sessions or once per week.

We also recommend cleaning the chiller's water filter once every 1-2 weeks. You simply unscrew the transparent cover, take out the filter, and rinse it with a brush and tap water, or spray it with a garden hose at high pressure. And replace with a brand new filter once a month to not cause damage to the chiller due to restricted water flow.

How much $ will i save on ice with the pod chiller?

Assuming each ice bath session requires around 20lbs of ice on average, and with an average cost of $3 per 10lbs, we have calculated that at 5 ice baths per week, the chiller cost is made back in 2-5 months. Then you can also consider all the hassle saved from buying/making ice and the water filtration system built into the chiller saving you lots of water and time.
